Last weekend I finished the sweater I was knitting. I tried to go to the button store, but I could’t find it.
So I started #26 Open Stitch Dolman from Vogue Knitting Spring/Summer 2013 with my lovely new yarn, but when I finished the first ball I realised I was going to need nearly twice what the pattern called for. The store I bought it from was out, and so is the store my mother visited. So I don’t want to continue with that until I can track down enough yarn.
Then I cast on the blanket that has been waiting to be knit for the past two years. I was super excited. And then I realised at the end of the first bobble row that there was a second line of instructions for the bobble which I completely missed. I have put the blanket in the big knitting basket for a time out. I’ve always hated bobbles. I thought these ones looked nice worked into the cable. Apparently I still hate bobbles.
So now Goose is watching me very closely as I knit this sock. I hope this one works out better than my other knitting attempts this week.
