Finished!

Finished!

I did it. All it needs now is a button and a wash.

Goose is helping me keep track of the last rows of my sweater. I hope to finish it today.

I am happy.

I am happy.

Today was good.

Today was good.

Cross-stitching in the laundry room. This one is huge. That’s barely a start on the corner.

Knitting, snacks, a beautiful candle, and Orphan Black.
A set up for a good night.
Because of my goodness after a life time of being told that tv shows/movies can’t take place in Canada because Americans won’t watch them (causing the show to not make enough money to keep running) it is so fucking nice to have a show that takes place in Toronto and is filmed in such a way that people who know Toronto can actually recognise Toronto.
And also characters who are LGBTQ but whose whole character isn’t wrapped up in the fact that they are LGBTQ and a remarkable amount of diversity considering the show is about fucking CLONES.
And realistic snow! I didn’t realise how rarely you see real, dirty, packed-from-footprints, ploughed-six-times snow on television. Snow is white and fluffy and pretty for about two seconds. Not the days or weeks they show in most movies/shows.
Seriously, I wish there were more shows as amazing as Orphan Black.
But yeah, knitting. Tonight my knitting blog is crashing into my non-knitting blog.

After being so busy for so long, I finally have some knitting time.
